3, 2, 1, go!
Experiment 1:
- Put the Minifigures on your bobsleigh and test how far it will go.
- Use a measuring tape to measure the distance that your bobsleigh travelled.
- Record the distance on your worksheet or a similar chart in your notebook.
- Do 3 test runs.
- Record the distance that your bobsleigh travelled each time and then circle the middle distance.
Faster!
Experiment 2:
- Now, test your bobsleigh with the black block that you have built. Mark your prediction of how far it will travel.
- Do 3 test runs.
- Record the distance that your bobsleigh travelled each time and then circle the middle distance.
Faster... faster!
Experiment 3:
- Now, compare the heavy black brick to the black block that you have just tested.
- Again, use a brick to mark your prediction.
- Test 3 times to see if you were right.
- Do not forget to record the distance each time and circle the middle distance.
What did you see?
- Which forces did you observe?
- Did you see any patterns?
