In this unit, your pupils will strengthen their design engineering and coding skills by solving complex real-world problems related to computer-controlled machines. They will apply skills spanning multiple subjects to analyse major global challenges, elaborate qualitative and quantitative criteria and constraints, and break down large problems into smaller ones. Throughout the unit, your pupils will develop and use a series of test cases to verify that their solution performs according to the design specifications. And finally, they will strengthen their communication skills as they clearly, concisely and logically present information, findings and supporting evidence.
