Driving teamwork, problem solving, and excitement in STEM

FIRST ® LEGO® League

In FIRST ® LEGO® League, children are immersed in real-world science and technology challenges. Teams design their own solution to a current STEM question or problem and build autonomous robots that perform a series of missions based on an annual Challenge theme.

Teams will build, test and program autonomous robots using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 technology and an annual FIRST LEGO League Challenge Set. Through their participation, children develop valuable life skills and discover exciting career possibilities while learning that they can make a positive contribution to society.

Our students had a brilliant time; they have been telling everyone at school about it. FIRST LEGO League has really helped to raise the profile of engineering and I'm sure that we are going to increase the numbers of students taking A level maths and physics and following on with an engineering career.
