Eligibility

  • Public schools and libraries in rural or high-poverty areas across all U.S. states
     
    Note: Private and charter schools are not eligible

Goals

  • Support access to technology education by funding hands-on projects that engage students in:
    • Computer science
    • Programming
    • Robotics
    • Assistive technology for students with disabilities

Application Due Date

  • Rolling application – reviewed every 30–60 days

Grant Award Total Amount

  • Up to $2,500 per school
     
    Larger amounts may be considered for exceptional proposals

Allowable Purchases

  • Funds may be used to purchase technology-based educational tools.
     
    LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential and SPIKE™ Prime solutions align well with this grant’s focus on:
    • Engaging students in hands-on robotics and coding
    • Promoting STEM career pathways
    • Supporting inclusive learning for diverse student needs

Program Implementation Requirements

  • Projects must:
    • Benefit multiple students
    • Promote technology-based learning
    • Spark interest in careers such as computer science, cybersecurity, or engineering
