Award recognizes educators using hands-on LEGO® learning solutions in their classrooms
Billund, Denmark (June 13, 2018) – Today, LEGO® Education announced the winners of the 2018 LEGO Education Teacher Awards to 27 educators from around the world. The award recognizes primary and secondary school teachers who have incorporated LEGO bricks in their STEM teaching. The hands-on learning experiences engage their students and help build their 21st century skills including creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking.
This year’s LEGO Education Teacher Award recipients include the following educators from around the world:
Many of the winners came together, with other educators from around the world, last week at Tufts University’s Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO) hosted and bi-annual LEGO® Education Symposium and its Tufts STEM Education Conference. The events are part of its longstanding and ongoing efforts to improve engineering education in kindergarten through college classrooms.
