    This solution includes a LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 Core Set for every two students, which enables students to build, program, and test their models using LEGO bricks and real-life robotics technology.  The Comprehensive Solution also includes Renewable Energy Add-On Sets, Temperature Sensors and the EV3 Space Challenge Set to ensure your students are equipped with all of the necessary tools for the curriculum that is offered.

  • Curriculum

    If you prefer a more guided teaching approach, consider these three distinct and engaging curriculum packs. Each curriculum pack includes comprehensive student-ready material, robot building instructions, teacher support materials, integrated assessment tools, and clear links to relevant curriculum standards: 

    • EV3 Design Engineering Projects Curriculum: 15 cross-STEM open-ended problem-solving activities that use real-life robotics to make learning fun and engaging, while challenging your students to apply their understanding of math and science concepts. 
    • EV3 Science Curriculum: 14 highly engaging physical science experiments centered on energy, heat and temperature, force and motion, and light. These activities are structured around the scientific inquiry process, challenging students to apply math, technology, and computational thinking as they build and carry out their experiments. 
    • EV3 Coding Activities: 12 activities offering extensive content to help teachers deliver the computer science curriculum, while providing cross-curricular teaching opportunities in design and technology, and science and math. Based on an automotive theme, the sessions challenge students to develop and apply their programming knowledge to topics such as driverless cars, vehicle reversing warning systems, keyless ignitions, and cruise control. 

  • Software and apps
    Seamlessly combined with the EV3 Core Set is the EV3 Software, allowing for intuitive programming and data logging. All student and teacher content is fully customizable and built into the software, allowing students to create a personal digital workbook. To help get you started in the classroom, the software includes an Introduction to Robotics lesson plan; with seven lessons, two master challenges, and four design brief challenges, all referencing relevant STEM curriculum standards.

    The LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Creative Process Assessment provides a bridge between LEGO Education activities and concepts of creativity.

    The Creative Process Assessment is a document containing methodology for accurately and effectively assessing the creativity of your students who are engaged in LEGO Education activities and related curriculum materials.



    This solution also includes Getting Started with EV3 teacher e-Learning. Organized into 15 self-paced lessons, this learning module will take you from complete beginner to classroom-ready. The course includes over one hundred videos, downloadable resource materials, ready-made sample programs, and "test your knowledge" quizzes to strengthen your learning process.

    Students design and build programmable robots using high quality motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles, and other technical components. By using hands-on robotics, students will gain a better understanding of how technology works in real world applications.

    The solution enables students to understand and interpret two-dimensional drawings to create three-dimensional models; build, test troubleshoot and revise designs to improve robot performance; Gain practical, hands-on experience using mathematical concepts such as estimating and measuring distance, time and speed.
