Victor Saeijs, President of LEGO® Education, will deliver the opening keynote on the rapidly evolving education landscape and how to embrace the challenges that come with it, as an opportunity to rethink the way we teach and learn. This practical session will let you experience first-hand how LEGO Education can help develop students' knowledge, skills, and confidence, along with a lifelong love of learning. You will see examples of the LEGO Learning System which demonstrates how purposeful play can help your students to succeed in STEAM subjects. Our workshops are 1 hour long and we have several sessions available throughout each day, in both English and Dutch.

Meet Our Speakers
Victor Saeijs, President, LEGO® Education
Victor Saeijs is the President of LEGO® Education. Victor oversees the global organization to deliver on its mission to enable every student to succeed – in their education and in life. Under his leadership, LEGO Education brings playful learning solutions to more students and teachers in the classroom to future-proof students and develop skills like critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Prior to joining LEGO Education in 2023, Victor successfully led the European business for the LEGO Group. He has more than 30 years' experience in global consumer goods and technology companies having also held leadership roles at Amazon, Nokia, and Philips Electronics.
Victor has a passion for learning and children’s education. While studying, he co-created a course on Entrepreneurship for the Dutch Open University. During his career, he co-created and led various functional and leadership programs in collaboration with INSEAD and IMD.
Victor is based in Billund, Denmark at the LEGO Group headquarters.
Ruthie Ousley, Director Product Innovation, LEGO® Education
Ruthie Ousley is a STEAM educator, teacher educator, and product strategist dedicated to the design and implementation of learning experiences that build confidence and creativity. As Director, Product Innovation for LEGO® Education, Ruthie leads exploration on key strategic topics and external partnership opportunities across global product portfolios at LEGO Education.
Ruthie’s current work follows more than a decade of experience designing and delivering programs and products for PK-12 in-school STEAM education, pre-service, and in-service teacher education, specifically with a lens to educational equity.
