Eligibility
- Local education agencies (LEAs), including school districts and charter schools
- LEA must have the necessary technology infrastructure in place to support computer science/AI digital curriculum, professional development and/or software
- LEA must submit a completed application
Goals
- Support computer science and AI education through digital curriculum, professional development and/or software
- Distribute funding through a competitive, need-based grant process
- Prioritize applications based on demonstrated need, quality of the implementation plan and budget feasibility

- Applications accepted till September 25, 2026
- Next application cycle expected early September 2027
Grant Award Total Amount
- Up to $20,000
Allowable Purchases
- Computer science/AI digital curriculum and instructional materials
- Professional development and training for educators in computer science and artificial intelligence

Program Implementation Requirements
- Applications must demonstrate clear need for computer science/AI expansion
- Implementation plan must show quality and feasibility
- Budget proposal must include vendor quote for proposed materials and/or professional development

- This is a competitive, need-based grant; applications are evaluated on demonstrated need, implementation plan quality, and budget feasibility
