CS Curricular Resource Grant

Eligibility
- Local Education Agencies (LEAs) (Public K-12 Districts) in Idaho.
- Must submit a 4-year computer science plan.
- Plan should include input from administrators, teacher leaders, educators, paraeducators, school board members, and parents.
Goals
- Ensure all students have access to computer science education.
- Support Idaho’s legislative mandate for CS in public schools.
Application Due Date
- May 1, 2025
Grant Cycle
- 4-year grant duration
Grant Award Total Amount
- A total of $2,100,000 is available, with a maximum of $25,000 per award.
- Years 2–4: Up to 25% of original award amount available annually (if funding is available and plan is updated).

Program Implementation Requirements
- Must submit and annually update a 4-year plan showing alignment to Idaho CS Standards and full student access by the end of the plan.
- The plan must align with Idaho’s K–12 Computer Science Standards.
- The plan should include goals, implementation steps, professional development, curriculum/resources, and how progress will be measured.
- Annual updates to the plan are required to remain eligible for continued funding in years 2–4.
- Collaboration with school leadership and stakeholders is strongly encouraged throughout planning and implementation.

- Involve a wide range of stakeholders early in the planning process to build buy-in and ensure a well-rounded, sustainable plan.
- Clearly show how your plan meets Idaho’s K–12 Computer Science Standards and provides equitable access for all students.
- Include details on professional development, curriculum selection, and how you’ll measure success.
- Think long-term—describe how your district will sustain efforts after the grant period ends.
- Strong, realistic budgeting and timelines can strengthen your application.
- Be prepared to revise and update your plan annually to maintain eligibility for continued funding.
