Eligibility
- Indiana public school corporations and public charter schools
- Must have completed the 2025 School Tech Plan Survey
Goals
- Leverage technology to enhance learning experiences
- Foster innovation in instruction and learning
- Promote effective digital pedagogies
- Support virtual and blended learning environments for students and teachers
Application Due Date
- Friday, May 16, 2025
Grant Cycle
- July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
Grant Award Total Amount
- Up to $50,000 (final amounts subject to change based on 2025 legislative session)
Allowable Purchases
- LEGO® Education kits can support personalized and interactive learning in blended environments
- Professional Development can align to training educators in implementing effective digital pedagogies
- Student-facing tools like SPIKE™ Prime or Essential kits with coding elements can support engagement
- LEGO Education PD supports teacher coaching, instructional design, and increasing student engagement
Program Implementation Requirements
- LEGO Education aligns with the following grant priority area:
- Blended & Virtual Learning Engagement: Platforms, hardware/software, personalized learning, teacher dashboards
Keep in Mind
- Applications include two rounds: written application and a 10-minute virtual proposal presentation
- Priority given to clear alignment with one or more grant focus areas
- If proposing a student-facing AI tool, confirm the vendor meets IDOE requirements
- Strong proposals include professional learning for staff, not just tech purchases
