Eligibility
- Rhode Island Local Education Agencies (LEAs) public schools, including charter schools, that submit an approved Technology Investment Plan
Goals
- Support schools in acquiring modern educational technology
- Advance digital learning environments
- Improve equitable access to digital tools and resources

Grant Award Total Amount (minimum and maximum application amount if available)
- Maximum amount is $300k (Previous Round was based off a per-student basis with a minimum of $25,000)
Allowable Purchases: LEGO Education solutions and PD
- LEGO Education kits and professional development align with allowable expenditures, including:
- Technology and instructional equipment: LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime and Essential kits fit the criteria for STEM-related tech tools
- Professional development: Training sessions and implementation support for LEGO Education programs are allowable if tied to effective technology integration
- Curriculum materials: LEGO Education’s FREE curriculum resources and digital tools are aligned with goals for enhancing instructional delivery
Program Implementation
- To provide more students with STEM and CTE opportunities.
- Priority is given to projects that demonstrate sustainability, equitable access, and instructional impact
- The fund prioritizes projects with immediate and transformative impact for large numbers of students.
- Funds should support long-term technology integration
Keep in Mind – tips for this specific application
- One application per LEA. Projects that can be completed prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year or by January 1, 2026 are given preference. All projects must be completed by June 30, 2026.
- Collaborate with your district’s tech team to ensure alignment with their Technology Investment Plan
- Emphasize how LEGO Education supports long-term goals in STEM, equity, and digital literacy
- Include quotes, delivery timelines, and PD plans to demonstrate readiness
- Strong proposals highlight access gaps and how this investment would help close them
