Eligibility
Public schools and libraries in rural or high-poverty areas across all U.S. states
- Note: Private and charter schools are not eligible
Goals
Support access to technology education by funding hands-on projects that engage students in:
- Computer science
- Programming
- Robotics
- Assistive technology for students with disabilities
Application Due Date
Rolling application – reviewed every 30–60 days
Grant Award Total Amount
Up to $2,500 per school
- Larger amounts may be considered for exceptional proposals
Allowable Purchases
Funds may be used to purchase technology-based educational tools. LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential and SPIKE™ Prime solutions, along with LEGO® Education Science kits and professional development, align well with this grant’s focus on:
- Engaging students in hands-on robotics and coding
- Promoting STEM career pathways
- Supporting inclusive learning for diverse student needs
Program Implementation Requirements
Projects must:
- Benefit multiple students
- Promote technology-based learning
- Spark interest in careers such as computer science, cybersecurity, or engineering
