Funding supports programs aligned to STEM Education and Workforce Readiness broadly, with proposals evaluated on program design rather than a fixed list of eligible expenses

LEGO® Education Computer Science & AI directly supports Toyota's national STEM Education priority, giving districts and nonprofits a standards-aligned, hands-on way to build computational thinking and technology skills tied to future workforce readiness.
LEGO® Education Science supports Toyota's STEM Education focus by giving applicants a hands-on, inquiry-based instructional model that's easy to describe in a program narrative and tie to measurable student outcomes.
LEGO® Education Professional Development aligns with Toyota's expectation that funded programs be sustainable and well-implemented, helping applicants show educator readiness and long-term program capacity in their proposal.

Applications must clearly connect to one of Toyota's funding priorities (STEM Education or Workforce Readiness nationally, or a documented local community need regionally)
Proposals should demonstrate long-term, sustainable impact and a commitment to serving under-resourced communities
All required fields in the online application must be completed; mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk
If a Toyota employee referred the applicant, that person's name, title, and office location must be included

Confirm that your organization and location meet Toyota’s eligibility requirements
Applications are submitted online only — Toyota does not accept mailed, faxed, or emailed applications
Submit applications at least 3 months before funding is needed
Each facility may have its own deadlines; check specific guidelines
Applications may take up to 6 months for review
Clearly connect the proposed program to Toyota’s STEM education or workforce-readiness priorities
Describe the community need and the population the program will serve and how your program serves diverse and underserved populations
Emphasize sustainable, classroom-based implementation rather than an equipment-only request
If you have a Toyota employee connection, include their name, title, and office location
