Grant Award Total Amount

  • Up to $6,000 per team (Matching Funds Required)

Allowable Purchases

  • Registration fees for eligible robotics competitions
  • Team materials, kits, supplies, and equipment needed for participation
  • Alignment with LEGO® Education:

Program Implementation Requirements

  • Funds must be used specifically to support participation in eligible robotics competitions, not unrelated STEM programs
  • Applicants must be able to track and report how funds are spent; DPI requires post-grant reporting (Form PI-2774)
  • Schools should demonstrate how purchases directly support student teams in competitions
  • Funds apply to the 2025–26 cycle only; applicants should consider sustainability beyond the grant period
