- Public, private and charter schools in Wisconsin serving 6-12th grade
Goals
- Support student participation in eligible Wisconsin robotics competitions

Grant Award Total Amount
- Up to $6,000 per team (Matching Funds Required)
Allowable Purchases
- Registration fees for eligible robotics competitions
- Team materials, kits, supplies, and equipment needed for participation
- Alignment with LEGO® Education:
- SPIKE™ Essential and SPIKE™ Prime provide coding, robotics, and engineering practice that prepare students for league competition
Program Implementation Requirements
- Funds must be used specifically to support participation in eligible robotics competitions, not unrelated STEM programs
- Applicants must be able to track and report how funds are spent; DPI requires post-grant reporting (Form PI-2774)
- Schools should demonstrate how purchases directly support student teams in competitions
- Funds apply to the 2025–26 cycle only; applicants should consider sustainability beyond the grant period
