How can I find the product I am looking for?

You can find a product by using the Search box on our website. It is located in the upper-right corner of the screen. You can search by name (for example, MINDSTORMS, sensor, or WeDo 2.0) or by the four- to seven-digit item number of the product if you know it. Type a word, phrase, or number into the Search box and then click Search or press Enter. Those products that fit your search criteria will appear on the screen. Click the image of the product you are interested in to see a full description.

Can I buy LEGO Education products in stores?

No. Our products are sold only through our website and catalogs to develop a complete educational solution with product and professional development options.  The LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 solution is not the same as the LEGO® Retail version. If you are working for an educational institution or using the EV3 for classroom use, please consider ordering the education version.

I left the site, and when I came back I was logged out and my cart was empty. What happened?

If while shopping or browsing the site, you are inactive for 30 minutes (meaning you haven’t clicked a button, followed a link, or submitted a search), your session will expire. This happens for security reasons and means that your cart contents will be removed and you will be required to log on again. Avoid 30-minute periods of inactivity on the site to prevent this problem.

Can I use my existing LEGO ID to shop on your website?

Yes, if you already have a LEGO ID account, it will now work on the LEGO Education website, too.

I have downloaded many activities from your website but can’t seem to find them. Where are they?

Our recent web transition and content migration provided a good opportunity to scrutinize the free activities on our site and, after a thorough review, determined that many were inconsistent, of varying degrees of quality, and disconnected from our mission to provide content-rich learning experiences for students. To ensure we provide only the highest-quality classroom resources, from this point forward, we will focus on delivering freely available curriculum material through our Downloads experience.

I’m trying to purchase online as a tax-exempt customer, but I don’t see an option for indicating my tax-exempt status.

Your bill-to address is set up as private instead of organization.  During checkout please set up a new bill-to address and choose Organization as the customer type. You will then see the option to select tax exempt on the payment page. If we have not received a tax-exempt certificate from you as of January 1, 2014, you will be prompted to submit your certificate before your order will be shipped. If you are ready to submit your certificate, please send it to orders@legoeducation.us.

Can I use LEGO VIP points when shopping on your website, or do I earn LEGO VIP points when shopping on your website?

Currently, LEGO Education does not participate in the VIP points program, so  VIP points that you’ve gained from shop.LEGO.com cannot be used at LEGOeducation.us, and VIP points will not be earned from shopping with LEGO Education.

Why was I charged sales tax?

Some states require us to charge sales tax. If you live in a state that charges tax and are ordering on behalf of a tax-exempt organization, we will remove these taxes before billing you if you have an existing tax-exempt account with us and are paying with a purchase order or a credit card belonging to your tax-exempt organization. Proof of your organization's tax-exempt status must be on file.

How long will it take to get my order using ground shipping?

LEGO Education is centrally located in Garland, Texas, making ground delivery as fast as expedited shipping for parts of the country. Click here to determine the average number of transit days to your location. Processing an order can take up to 48 hours – though most are processed the same day they are received.

I am in a country other than the United States. Why can't I place an order on your site?
