Science Lessons

Bring science to life for your students using LEGO® Education Coding Express and LEGO® Education STEAM Park. The science units below each allow students to explore science concepts in a hands on, narrative-based approach. They are designed to be taught with your current science curriculum to reinforce and extend students' learning.

Needs of Plants and Animals Unit In this 5-lesson unit, students use the Coding Express and STEAM Park sets to explore the habitats and environments of plants and animals. In addition, they explore the relationships between the needs of plants and animals and the ways humans interact with or affect those needs.

Weather Unit In this 4-lesson unit, students use the Coding Express and STEAM Park sets to explore the weather, how it changes, and how humans try to predict it. They model what humans and animals need in different types of weather and show how forecasts can help people during severe weather.
